It was a special treat to walk freely around the Bates Motel lot by day and without the Halloween crowds. For the anniversary, the area is decked out with a classic car and an open office window, a curtain at times blowing through the pane and creating an extra sense of the eerie. Look closely up at the house. In the window. There’s Norman’s mother rocking in her chair.
