BURIED PROLOGUE: EARLY ADVENTURES IN ACCOUNTING AND PROCESS DESIGN
Fortune 500 experience began during an accounting co-op program within IBM's software division, during which I was evaluated as the best intern in the department. Then, entering J.D. Edwards in the accounting department, challenges included spearheading the migration of the Mexico City office's billing system to Denver. A fact-finding trip to Mexico City helped identify and establish new procedures for clients' ERP software maintenance and support billings while also ensuring conformance to Mexico's business laws. In the process, lost revenue was uncovered and a cross-functional career began.
