It wasn’t until I had a child of my own that I finally appreciated what all the fuss is about with people obsessing over their baby photos. Yeah, sure. Your kid’s cute. What do you expect me to say?

But this child? My child? Yeah. He's something special. No doubt about it.

Look at that face. So young, and yet so intense — as if he's wise way beyond his years. Here, he’s focused on catching up on the Clone Wars. It's an unwavering focus. Studying the character arcs, noting the key plot points. His curiosity is insatiable. Just like his proud papa.

I have to admit I have concerns about what this child’s going to be like when he enters his 200s. Here he is, wearing his father's sunglasses. And he's crazy about those Jim Thompson elephant pillows from Bangkok. The way he coos around them is so adorable.

What am I teaching this kid? Will he follow the Bono side of me? Or will he go the way of the Kanye side of me? He’s already displaying a rebellious streak, that's for sure. Will he choose wisely? Will society grind him down? Will he succumb to the Dark Side? While I have every intention of being there to smack him upside the head if and when he needs it, I know doing so will hurt me more than him.

Awww. This one gets me right in the heart. No. I’m not crying. I’m having a bad contacts day.

Dream big, kid. Imagine.

It's easy if you try.

No. Hang on. That's not quite right.

A wise being once said there is no "try."

So. Let's reword that.

Imagine.

It's not hard to do.
