The Fly at Sphere on 29 September U2023.
They warped space and time in Sphere. Absolutely breathtaking optical illusions filled the show, but none more spectacularly than The Fly. The Sphere turns into the Cube through ingenious mathematics while 3D effects make words appear to extend out into the audience (no 3D glasses required!). It was so elegantly, seamlessly done, it really felt like the ceiling was collapsing.
So effin' awesome!

From up in the nosebleeds to down close. It was tricky being up front and center, particularly with the stage cameras, show photographer and security. A lot (much more than I'd like) is out of frame or cockeyed, but, for me, the really good stuff outweighs the annoyances.
